IT Purchasing is part of the UTS Information Technology Division. They provide centralised procurement of IT equipment for the university community. In addition they have negotiated for students and staff to purchase equipment directly from our preferred suppliers at discounted prices. Our preferred suppliers are Apple, Alfa, DELL and IBM.

Students and staff will be able to take advantage of the negotiated discounts and value-added services by ordering direct from the preferred suppliers. This ensures students and staff have access to the latest technology at the best price available.

IT Purchasing runs an IT Showcase display area where staff and students can view selected demonstration equipment and receive advice on their purchases.

IT Purchasing Aim
The aim is to deliver the lowest possible price to all UTS departments, staff and students by leveraging off collective bulk-buying power. Students and staff will be able to take advantage of the negotiated discounts and value-added services by ordering direct from the preferred suppliers.
