Dell offers UTS students, staff and alumni special discount coupons to use in the Dell online Home & Home Office Web Store.
How to use your discount
- Visit www.dell.com.au & click on Home & Home Office to begin.
- Configure your required item, and head to the page titled Review Your Order.
- On this page there is a section called Coupon Entry. Enter 391036C8087F and click Apply
Coupon.
- When you click 'Continue' you will be asked "Has a Dell Salesperson helped you with this
order?"
ENTER "UTS EPP". This will validate your discount, if not done your order may be
delayed whilst your eligibility is verified.
- Use your UTS email address when ordering to help Dell verify your eligibility

Who do I contact to find out about buying a

Can I purchase educational versions of software?
Staff and students (not alumni) can purchase software from Insight. Alumni are unable to purchase education software.
Once I've decided what I want, how do I place
my order?
- Follow the link above to Dell Online Store.
- Once you enter the site you shall see the desktop and laptop headings
along with some accessories. If you click on either you can see the
configurations that are available to purchase.
- From here the process is self-explanatory and all you have to do is
just follow the prompts on the screen and you can't go wrong.
Do I need a student/staff/alumni ID?
Student/staff/alumni id may be required at some stage during the order process.
What methods of payment can I use?
MasterCard and VISA are the only forms of payment that Dell currently
accept.
How long will it take before I receive my order?
Delivery times vary according to stock availability but usually the order
is completed in 10 workings days.

What type of warranty will I receive?
Warranties vary from product to product. Laptops have a 1-year on site
warranty and Desktops have a 1-year on site warranty. Options to upgrade
the warranty to 3 years are only available at time of purchase so if you
require 3 years warranty please choose the appropriate option when purchasing
your computer.
Will someone set the computer up for me?
There is an option for onsite installation when placing the order for
your computer at an added cost.
Can I upgrade my computer in the future?
Upgrades are only available through Dell Spare Parts. You can ring Dell
on 1800 812 393 and there is an option for Dell spares. A Dell consultant
will ask you the model of the computer and will then be able to give you
appropriate price for the spare part required and can supply you with
a quote for installation if required.
What do I do if I have a problem with my computer?
Dell has support through the telephone on 1800 009 640 and through the
web. Documentation for technical support is included with the purchase
of the machine. You can also email one of the technical consultants from
