ITD operates a central IT procurement facility at the City campus. Previously operating as a self-funded retail operation called Bits & PC's, IT Purchasing now focuses on strategic purchasing of IT equipment for UTS and has negotiated preferred supplier agreements with Apple, Dell and Hewlett Packard.

Students and staff will be able to take advantage of the negotiated discounts and value-added services by ordering direct from the preferred suppliers. This ensures students and staff have access to the latest technology at the best price available.

IT Purchasing runs an IT Showcase display area where staff and students can view selected demonstration equipment and receive advice on their purchases.
